Museum pa site

2 days ago room 9 went to Puke Ariki museum.  We looked at a model pa site.
The Maori people had kumara pits because that is where the kumaras were stored.  They used gourds for collecting water.
If the Maori people were gardening and the enemies came they would use their sharp gardening tools to fight with.

Lost in the city

The screeching of car tyres was loud and scary. I was all alone and  frightened. It was a very dark night, I couldn't  see the moon. Their were people i didn't know all around me ' and there were lots of signs all around me as well. It was the creepiest night ever in my life.

Me

I have a Mum and Dad and a brother called Sid and two sisters called Stella and Mabel .  I'm 8 years old.  I like playing Tank Trouble on the computer.  My favorite colour is red.    I like kicking the ball with dad.  The last place we went for  our holiday was Urenui, we stayed in a bach.

Rainforests

My task was to write a letter to the President of Brazil saying why it is important to save the rainforest.

Dear President of Brazil,

We need to keep the rainforest so we can save the animals.  Animals need plants for food.  Some insects can only live in one tree.  Reptiles in the world need trees for survival.  

The animals with no food or shelter will die.  Trees are important for the planet.  The trees and animals could disappear forever!
